About Forge

Meet The Forge Team

The Forge Vision

To Forge, Southern Comfort food can be defined as farm-to-table at its finest. From a culture that takes great pride in its ability to produce its own food, Forge strives to continue this tradition by sourcing most of our products from local farms and giving these traditional dishes an innovative twist.

Each dish is entirely composed to showcase these fresh, local ingredients. Each component is selected to work in tandem, and each flavor is carefully chosen to blend in perfect harmony. When eaten together, each bite will take you on a journey through the South.

Chef Tom

General Manager

Tom grew up right here in our very own Cecil County. His love for cooking began at the age of 14. This passion would inspire him to work at various local restaurants until he graduated High School, eventually leading him to attend the Pennsylvania School of Culinary Arts.

For Tom, cooking is more than simply a career; but a way of life. His thirst for knowledge inspired him to oversee restaurants from all different spectrums, ranging from your local hot spot to multi-million-dollar corporations. After spending 15 years under the tutelage of others, amassing insurmountable knowledge in the industry, his love for Cecil County brought him back home.

The time has come to show the world what he has learned while accomplishing his biggest dream yet: Forge.

Chef Raheem

Executive Chef

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Raheem relocated to Lancaster at 21 to attend the Pennsylvania School of Culinary Arts, where he would meet and befriend Tom. The school would awaken Raheem’s passion for cooking, as he believed it to be not a job but a form of art.

From there, Raheem would continue to challenge himself. He would gain invaluable experiences from various establishments, ever-expanding his portfolio of recipes and refining his skills from the last ten years in the culinary industry. This made Raheem more than just a Chef but an artist of the pallet.

His time has come to show the world what he has learned while accomplishing his biggest dream yet: Forge.
